Itchin' Scratchin' Zydeco is The Hog Stompin' Zydegators 6th album and most recent release. It sees the return of original band member Michael Murphy on vocals and guitar and features 6 all original songs from the band while paying homage to 5 covers: Eddie Shuler's "Sugar Bee" Sister Rosetta Tharp's "Up Above My Head" Clifton Chenier's "All Night Long", Bobby & Shirley Womack's "It's All Over Now" and Mckinley Morganfield's "Red Beans". Itchin' Scratchin' Zydeco was released at the 2013 Port Fairy Folk Festival and was highly rated by critics as a return to the glory days of the band at its peak.
